I wanted to compliment Magna-Thomson Movers on their excellent service. In August Noelene quoted us on packing and moving our container. Every instance of dealing with Magna-Thomson since has been a pleasure. Noelene assisted me in filling out the forms, explained what would happen and when. Michelle called me regularly to see how things were going as my husband had left before me and I was selling the house on my own. When Ravi and his team arrived, they were like a swarm of worker ants moving methodically through the house packing and advising what should be left behind and what could go.
When the container eventually arrived in Australia, we had two broken plates and that was about the extent of the damage.
Everyone we dealt with was professional and knowledgable about what they were doing and what they were able to provide and yet also sympathetic to the stress and unknown that we were going through. We felt as though we were being moved by friends.
We really appreciate all they did for us and would happily recommend them to anyone else making this big move.

"Please forgive me for not having written sooner but the days pass at the speed of lightening and here it is already the 1st February 2007!
Well as you can see we have arrived safely and are settled in to our new home - which we are renting, having decided not to buy until we are sure where we want to live. We absolutely love Albuquerque and the people we have met so far have been delightful, friendly and kind. We live near a H U G E mall with everything you could want and a whole lot more.
The clothes here are good and inexpensive so is the food, which is awesome with so many choices you get frantic trying to decide! The rents are quite reasonable and the only thing which we have found to be expensive is the furniture - not that we need any of that!
Please let me know how you all are and please tell “our” team a big thank you for all their care. I meant to take a photo of them before they left and at the last minute forgot. If anyone could send me one I would appreciate it very much."Back to top

"Just a note to thank you so much for organising the transfer of my “worldy possessions”. I have just moved in to my new home just 8 miles south of Edinburgh and finished unpacking.
Everything was just as it was packed, with nothing missing or damaged. It was great to see all my things again, but it is hard to believe that I last saw them four months ago. Scotland is beautiful with all the Spring flowers appearing everywhere and we are having a very mild winter so far.
I am so pleased that I got Magna to help me with my move and have already recommended you to a friend, so if some one comes in asking for chocolate cake - she should get the piece I missed! Thanks again for all your help, all done so efficiently and with such a lovely smile."Back to top
