Priscilla and I wish to thank you and your company for an excellently expedited shipment of the consignment of furniture and other items to our family in Brisbane, Australia.
We were here in Brisbane ourselves when the delivery took place at the end of last week. All went extremely well and the company making the delivery could not be faulted. The two men were most courteous and effecient. We were particularly impressed with the smaller of the two men who had the strength of a Samson. He was of slight stature and very strong. I asked if he went to gym. His reply was that there was no need as the furniture moved daily was better than weights. "No worries, Mate"
Great all round. and thanks to you.
We get back to SA at the end of Jan 2012 and will be in touch, giving good notice, when we require the load in the Cape.

RE: Storage in South Africa
Thank you for storing the combined charities Christmas card kiosk at Magna over the last year, without it costing us anything! We truly appreciate this generosity and wish to thank you on behalf of all the various charities that benefitted from the kiosk.
As we have discontinued the kiosk due to various reasons, we will no longer require them. Hence we organised with Pat Draper from Rotary to arrange for delivery of the kiosk to you. The kiosk will now be used in one of their other charity projects, for which we are grateful. Thank you for assisting him in this matter and so making a worthwhile contribution to yet another charity project.
We wish you, your family and the entire Magna Thomson team a blessed Christmas and prosperous 2012.

A quick 'e' to let you know that we are now installed in our new house. We received the balance of our goods about 2 weeks ago and everything more or less fits (what doesn't has gone in the loft!).
A big thank you from the three of us for the efficient way you handled everything from the 'maritzburg end. The only casualty was broken glass on one of the small pictures - not bad eh.!
I hope you are now well recovered from your chest infection and back to your normal cheery self. Your colleagues certainly missed you.
Take care and once again thank you for all you did for us. If the occassion arises I will have no problem in putting your name forward as a recommendation.

I cannot thank you enough for your prompt and efficient service. Today your movers went that extra mile when our furniture wouldn’t fit @ it’s destination and they had to move it back to it’s original place - needless to say I was devastated and embarrassed BUT your people were compassionate and quick and didn’t seem to mind to go that extra mile for me.
I will recommend you where ever I go and I will certainly use you again.

Hi Michelle,
How you doing? I hope you are all 100% now and going full steam ahead. We are good and settlling into the lifestyle of Canberra. Our stuff went through fine and was delivered last Friday. Caleb was so excited to see his stuff and I think is more settled now too. We are in our home and it's slowly taking shape. Taking a bit longer than I normally would to unpack and all that as with a growing tummy and a very active toddler with no baby sitters, it proves to be a bit more of a challenging task. Thank you for all your help in getting our stuff here safely. So grateful!

Hi! Hope this finds you well. We just wanted to let you know that our shipment arrived in good order. We were contacted by Geo Copsey and they advised us they could deliver our goods first thing on Thursday morning. We were very surprised, therefore, to open our front door on Wednesday afternoon and discover their truck outside our door. Their staff were efficient and helpful and soon had our boxes and furniture stowed away for us. It was just as well they came in the middle of the afternoon though. The people here park their cars on the road (in spite of having garages and driveways) and the truck would never have been able to reach us in the morning until after everyone had left for the day!
So to conclude, everything arrived safely and we could not be more delighted. Thank you for your efficient service and we would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone looking to move overseas and take their home with them.

Well everything has arrived safe and well, as you promised. Of course I have far too much 'stuff' for this little place but that is not your fault. I must say I am VERY impressed with the packing - not one thing is broken or damaged. The two men who unpacked the container and moved everything into the house were SO friendly and helpful and very efficient. As were those who packed me up in Pmb a year ago..I am still hunting for posters to sent to you - without success so far, but have not forgotten. Have not forgotten the licorice / chocolate rolls either......
Wish I could pop in for a coffee and chat...

Kate O'Coonor from bell has been a great help. All our personal affects have been cleared without problem at customs and we received them just befor 17:00 yesterday (Friday 5 June).
Our sincere thanks to MagnaThomson for you professional assistance in getting our personal affects to us safely - the kids in particular were most happy to re-unite themselves with their old friend, their X-Box 360......
Be asssured that I will refer your company and their services to other friends and family in RSA.
There are some of our other items remaining in RSA for now and we will definately ask your company for assistance in the near future in getting these across as well.

I wanted to send a mail to Noleen but somehow mislaid her email address so I am hoping that you will pass this on to her after you have read it.
I wanted to let Magna Thomson know that I am 100% happy with their service. From the very first time that I met Noleen I felt comfortable and confident with her. She gave me all the facts and kept her word with everything. You too kept me posted with what was required from me to ensure efficiency throughout the process. From the time the packers began packing they showed professionalism and efficiency. My container arrived in tact in Israel on the anticipated arival date of 31 July so there were no delays and I was ecstatic. Furthermore everything was unpacked from the container efficiently and I was truly happy to see MY things in my new home.You made my transition that much easier!
I am still unpacking the last few boxes (kitchen stuff) and so far everthing is still in its original condition - nothing broken!!!! Hopefully the rest will be like that as well.
Once again Magna Thomson you can be proud of yourselves. I will certainly recommend you to anyone who needs reassurance when transporting their precious items abroad.

Having just had an e-mail from a friend of ours (Roy Smith), who is due to ship his household goods etc to New Zealand, reminded us to sit down and thank you for the excellent service we received from both Magna Movers and Allied Movers.
Our son sent us video footage and photographs of our containers being packed with, not only our household goods but boats, car, caravan etc. We are very impressed by the care you took to ship our goods safely to New Zealand. You accepted the challenges of some of those items and fitted them safely into the containers.
We observed our household goods being packed efficiently under good supervision, by Magna Movers, and when we received them in New Zealand Allied Mover's cheerful staff delivered the household goods and assisted us in taking delivery of the vehicles, including putting us into contact with the correct person who was able to take us through the hurdle that the importation of a car has become.
We will certainly recommend your companies to all our friends.

Just a quick email to thank you guys for everything you did for my moval to Brisbane, our stuff arrived safely and only the Wall unit's foot was brocken, nothing else its seems, as my husband is doing all the unpacking.
I have definitly recommended your company to the saaustralia website and gave you guys a good heads up for other people as i was very impressed with the response and service from Magna Thompson.
Whybirds were just as good, so we will see about having the unit sorted out, my hubby going to phone whybirds on Thursday to check on the insurance progress.

A short note to say that our consignment has been delivered, unloaded and unpacked. What a job! 109 packages. It took days to unpack. Everything was so well wrapped and all arrived safely. The guys who unloaded were great. Whybirds were great. Thank you.
As you can see, Wendy and I have moved to Noosa from Cairns. A lovely little town just north of Brisbane.

Just wanted to let you know that the team you sent were great (sorry, but I lost their names). Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very polite and professional and really knew their stuff. We were very impressed and I have recommended your company to my sister-in-law who is also going to be moving overseas in the coming year. (Suggest you all get a good raise next year!)
I would also like to thank you for your help and advice. I'm sure you understand what a spin people on the move can get into! Naturally, we discovered items we could have sent by container after your guys had left, but that's probably the norm. Such is life!

I would just like to say how grateful I am to have entrusted our belongings into the care of your team. My sister at Le Domaine said she was extremely impressed with the manner in which the entire team presented themselves. They were on time (an hour early in fact), courteous and very efficient. She said there was an air of professionalism and evidence of good controls yet the guys seemed to operate with absolute ease. It is really wonderful to have such peace of mind particularly with such a long haul move from Hillcrest to Kleimond in the Cape.
Unfortunately I will not be able to meet or receive the team in Kleinmond as I am based in Durbanville. The two very long “antique fishing rods and spinnaker reels” were not included in the initial packing as my nephew was counting on the arrival at 09h00 and was still in Maritzburg at the time of packing. Who knows how we’ll ever get these things to Cape Town? Perhaps I’ll manage on a plane with them sticking out the window....!!!
Anyway would you please extend our appreciation to the team and thank you also for all your effort and efficiency.

What for all of you might be everyday’s work, it was a once in a lifetime experience to us: to pack our house of the last 20 years into a container and ship it away. Believe you me, it’s a scary feeling…
On Monday the container arrived to our new home still locked with the original seal, and even if it will still take some time to open all boxes, it is clear that everything is in perfect order.
I am sure this is the result of a process starting with the careful and dedicated packing and loading of the container performed by the Magna Thomson team, including the work of everyone I have bothered with my questions all along the process i.e.: Wayne, Tammy, Lisa, and Charles, and their patience to answer them; also, the speedy dispatching of the container at destination port; and concluded with a professional, very friendly (at times very funny) French team doing the unloading and unpacking.

Just a short note to thank you for all the friendly and capable help you gave me to get the Grandfather Clock (handmade by my dad) and the Buffet Cabinet (which is a family heirloom from my grandmother when she and her family emigrated to South Africa from the Netherlands in the late 1890's) back to Pretoria. Everything arrived without any damage and was unpacked efficiently by your personal due to the good packing of Elite Shipping in Dubai.
I will definitely remember MagnaThomson and Kamar Baker-Elite shipping in Dubai as people that are committed to their work.

I wanted to compliment Magna-Thomson Movers on their excellent service. In August Noelene quoted us on packing and moving our container. Every instance of dealing with Magna-Thomson since has been a pleasure. Noelene assisted me in filling out the forms, explained what would happen and when. Michelle called me regularly to see how things were going as my husband had left before me and I was selling the house on my own. When Ravi and his team arrived, they were like a swarm of worker ants moving methodically through the house packing and advising what should be left behind and what could go.
When the container eventually arrived in Australia, we had two broken plates and that was about the extent of the damage.
Everyone we dealt with was professional and knowledgable about what they were doing and what they were able to provide and yet also sympathetic to the stress and unknown that we were going through. We felt as though we were being moved by friends.
We really appreciate all they did for us and would happily recommend them to anyone else making this big move.

"Please forgive me for not having written sooner but the days pass at the speed of lightening and here it is already the 1st February 2007!
Well as you can see we have arrived safely and are settled in to our new home - which we are renting, having decided not to buy until we are sure where we want to live. We absolutely love Albuquerque and the people we have met so far have been delightful, friendly and kind. We live near a H U G E mall with everything you could want and a whole lot more.
The clothes here are good and inexpensive so is the food, which is awesome with so many choices you get frantic trying to decide! The rents are quite reasonable and the only thing which we have found to be expensive is the furniture - not that we need any of that!
Please let me know how you all are and please tell “our” team a big thank you for all their care. I meant to take a photo of them before they left and at the last minute forgot. If anyone could send me one I would appreciate it very much."Back to top

"Just a note to thank you so much for organising the transfer of my “worldy possessions”. I have just moved in to my new home just 8 miles south of Edinburgh and finished unpacking.
Everything was just as it was packed, with nothing missing or damaged. It was great to see all my things again, but it is hard to believe that I last saw them four months ago. Scotland is beautiful with all the Spring flowers appearing everywhere and we are having a very mild winter so far.
